Find tire size
The size is on your tire's sidewall.
Example 205/55 R16 91V: 205 is the width in millimeters, 55 is the aspect ratio (height to width in percent), and 16 is the rim diameter in inches. The number after that is the load index, and the letter is the speed index — both must not be lower than the values in your registration certificate part I.
Where can I find my tire size? On the sidewall of the mounted tire or in registration certificate part I under 15.1 and 15.2. These show the sizes registered ex works; other approved sizes may be listed in the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) or an ABE (General Operating Permit). If you are unsure, please contact us — we will check this for your vehicle.
Summer, winter, or all-season? Winter-suitable tires bear the snowflake symbol (3PMSF). In Germany, a situational winter tire requirement applies in wintry road conditions, and as of October 1, 2024, only this symbol counts — the old M+S marking is no longer sufficient. All-season tires with 3PMSF also fulfill this requirement.
